I haven’t been to the gym in two weeks and since I had to pay my payment today, I made the decision to do a workout there. Well, while there I decided for shits and giggles to hop on the captain’s chair, something I haven’t been able to do since jr.high and still struggled with. Well, I actually did 3 leg lifts with no problem and decided to do 3 more sets of 2 reps. It’s not a lot but it’s damn sure a start for me, I was so excited when it happened. I still am for that matter - I’m like “Me, doing the captain’s chair? NO WAY!”. It’s such an awesome awesome feeling, I love it!

Just a quick note before I type my real post, I found this the site mentioned in this post because my local newspaper. They have a little 1×1 square ad in the paper every day called click it and it’s to some site or video on the web and the other day’s just happened to be hundredpusups.com, just a small pic to accompany the url and that was it. Not sure, how many have seen the site from here in Odessa,Texas but I know the small ad intrigued me since I’m on this new kick of trying to get healthy and strong. With that, being strong to me means being able to do regular pushups and being able to do pull - ups. ( I can’t do ONE pull - up and when I can, that’s going to rule.)
Anyway, since I’m wanting to better my health, I had to visit the site and that’s when I started my new goal because push-ups have always been my enemy but I’ve always wanted to get away from the girly style pushups that I’ve forever been tortured by of doing. I’ve never been be able to do a proper regular pushup and the time is now for me to claim my stake in that.
I’ve done all three days of week one, well actually 2 days of week one and one day of week two. Yep, you read that right, I messed up and wasn’t paying attention and ended up doing the 2nd day of week two instead of week one. But I can already notice a difference in just a short amount of time, I don’t know if it’s just clearly from the pushups or a mix of that and doing the WII boxing every night. ( I put my all into that one.)
Although, I have to do the girly pushups right now, that’s going to give me a head start in being able to do the regular ones in the future. As soon as I can achieve the 100 girly pushups is when I will attempt the training on the regular ones.

DAMMIT, I had another post typed up but I accidentally hit COPY again instead of paste because I had originally typed it in the page part. Shoot.
Anyways, with the new numbers I’m now officially 40 lbs below what I started out at and that’s freaking cool. When I was working at Wal-Mart, the only scale I was using to check my weight was the one at the gym and that sucker is about 20 lbs off, so even then I weighed around 270-280 lbs which means I was pretty much maintaining that weight for 5 months before I decided to do something about it and I did, didn’t I? Still have a lot to go but I have to admit it’d be cool to shock the lady I use to work with about the weight loss. I kept trying to lose weight while I worked there but really didn’t have the understanding of the calorie crap down but now that I do, I’m capable of doing this, even if it takes me another year to get the rest off. All, I know is that it’s going to come off eventually.

That’s a site that gives a great training plan to do a hundred pushups, okay you might not be doing 100 pushups at the end of the 6th week if you’re like me and can only do one pushup. But you can sure work on the amount you can do. So, I’m taking the challenge and I intend to reach 100 pushups by the end of the year.
I need things to challenge me and this is just another one that will kick my butt into shape and because I’m weird, I would also love to do the splits. I’ve never been able to do them and I would like to be able to do that one day, that would mean I’m more flexible as well and that would lead to less injuries.
My boyfriend has informed he’s told a co-manager at Wally World that I re-applied and so I expect to be called within’ the next few days. So, now I get to schedule work into my lifestyle as well, I hope I don’t fall flat on my ass on trying to work, workout, eat right and just live life in general. I want to be healthy but damn it, I want money too.

I now own all three but for me the first 2 are black and the last one is white. I wasn’t aware they had a black WII or unless that’s a skin. Not sure.

Yes, that’s right folks, I have a sought after WII and quite frankly, I don’t understand the commotion of it all. While I did have loads of fun with it last night, it’s not any more fun than what’s been had with the XBOX 360 and the Playstation consoles that I have.
It did give my arms a nice work out though and I like that aspect of it, both arms are fairly sore today. The day we bought it I did the WII FIT age test thingy that’s included with the WII SPORTS game and my first one was 80, today’s is 79. Which, are both full of it but it’s fun to see what it has to say.
When I’m able to buy the WII FIT game thing, I’ll be including that into my schedule of workouts and fitting that between a job, of course providing I have a job by then. I’ve re-applied at Wal-Mart of all places, not that I want to work there but it’s at least something that I can do to give me money and allow me time to figure out what I want to do in college. I applied for cashier, I’m fairly certain this is the only position that I won’t want to quit after 11 months. hahaha

Last week was a week of free days and it felt great to eat all that ice cream. I’m up a few lbs but that’s alright and I expect part of that to be water gain. I’m up like 4 lbs from last Sunday.
Anyway, today started the new period of weight loss and I’m back on the grind for the next 4.75 months, I would say longer but I expect to have a free week in for the week Christmas falls.
And besides, it’s keeping things real and I won’t drive myself insane.

Sparkpeople allows you to log your work in time and there’s a lady here in Odessa that I think is full of it, only because she’s only lost 2 lbs and amazingly how exercise minutes for this month jumped 120 minutes in one day and as from what I can see, she just started working out within the past 2 weeks.
I seriously doubt from what she says and what not, that she’s already busting out 2 hours of exercise time in a day. Well, unless she considers just “living” exercise and what I mean by that is : checking the mail, cleaning your house, doing laundry and that sorta thing .
Some people on spark do log those things, if you’re logging that as exercise - I can only assume you check you do these things once a week and you’re fucking lazy fuck the rest of the time.
Half the stuff I do, I don’t even log, I don’t log everytime I get on my bicycle and I don’t log every two minutes I do on the gazelle to break up the boredom in my day.
I don’t know, it just annoys me …………..
