Day Three - Hundred Pushups
exercise July 8th, 2008Just a quick note before I type my real post, I found this the site mentioned in this post because my local newspaper. They have a little 1×1 square ad in the paper every day called click it and it’s to some site or video on the web and the other day’s just happened to be hundredpusups.com, just a small pic to accompany the url and that was it. Not sure, how many have seen the site from here in Odessa,Texas but I know the small ad intrigued me since I’m on this new kick of trying to get healthy and strong. With that, being strong to me means being able to do regular pushups and being able to do pull - ups. ( I can’t do ONE pull - up and when I can, that’s going to rule.)
Anyway, since I’m wanting to better my health, I had to visit the site and that’s when I started my new goal because push-ups have always been my enemy but I’ve always wanted to get away from the girly style pushups that I’ve forever been tortured by of doing. I’ve never been be able to do a proper regular pushup and the time is now for me to claim my stake in that.
I’ve done all three days of week one, well actually 2 days of week one and one day of week two. Yep, you read that right, I messed up and wasn’t paying attention and ended up doing the 2nd day of week two instead of week one. But I can already notice a difference in just a short amount of time, I don’t know if it’s just clearly from the pushups or a mix of that and doing the WII boxing every night. ( I put my all into that one.)
Although, I have to do the girly pushups right now, that’s going to give me a head start in being able to do the regular ones in the future. As soon as I can achieve the 100 girly pushups is when I will attempt the training on the regular ones.
